Today, I presented state awards of Ukraine to the people without whom Operation “Spiderweb” would not have happened. We have no right to name them – everything remains absolutely classified and will remain so for a long time. This is already a historic operation by the Security Service of Ukraine, one that was carefully prepared, and on this very day one year ago, it entered its final stage – striking Russian military equipment. Farther than Ukrainian long-range capabilities had ever reached before. As precisely as no one in Russia expected. And as justly as the enemy’s strategic aviation deserves.

“Spiderweb” destroyed or at least damaged 41 aircraft. Never before had Russia lost such equipment, in such numbers, and as a result of strikes by drones that were incomparably cheaper. Ukraine has once again proved that it knows how to act asymmetrically, that it defends itself actively and truly creatively, and that Russia has no chance of overcoming Ukrainian courage. Ukraine will always be one step ahead – in technology, in bravery, and in the ability to capture the world’s attention and rally the support of millions of human hearts.

Ukraine is now applying long-range sanctions against Russia for this war literally every day. We did not start this war, we did not provoke it, and the only thing we wanted for Ukraine and Ukrainians was peace. But as long as the Russians choose the opposite, and as long as Russia does everything to drag out this war and expand it, Ukrainians will continue to find responses that will definitely work. I thank all our warriors for their precision! I thank the Security Service of Ukraine for its long-range leadership! I thank everyone who helps us! Glory to Ukraine!

And If Ukrainian units come to island of Gotland, I want hard, realistic training. I don’t want them to do an exhibition.

One of the things that has become absolutely clear is that you can no longer conduct maneuver warfare in the old way, and you cannot concentrate mass. Russians tried it few weeks ago, and one of their armored battalions was completely annihilated.

That’s why we’re also investing heavily in our own drone capabilities. We need to adapt and learn modern electronic warfare as well.

I’m proud that we’re collaborating with Ukrainians. I’m grateful for this cooperation. It’s precisely because we support Ukraine so strongly in this war that we receive this kind of valuable training in return.

Великий текст нашого льотчика Вадима Ворошилова на псевдо «Karaya», який змінить МіГ-29 на JAS-39 Gripen та проходить зараз навчання на них у Швеції.

Почну з того, що особисто для мене JAS-39 - це єдиний винищувач у світі заради котрого я готовий продати душу. Навіть проміняти єдину мою любов - МіГ-29.

Маючи досвід льотної роботи упродовж 14 років, а особливо в сучасних реаліях, коли ворог систематично завдає комбінованих ударів по аеродромній інфраструктурі - Gripen створений для таких жорстких умов.

Я опишу коротко, як військовий льотчик, чому особисто я вважаю його «ідеальним варіантом» для сьогоднішньої України та чому він надійний на майбутнє.

1. Почну з обстрілів аеродромів.
Ворог завдає регулярних ударів по аеродромах застосовуючи «шахеди», крилаті ракети «калібр» з проникаючо-фуганою, осколочно- фугасною, касетними бойовими частинами, балістикою системи «іскандер» з використанням різних типів бойових частин.

Після завдання удару по аеродрому з касетною бойовою частиною, льотне поле потребує ретельного прибирання усіх дрібних осколків, каміння після руйнування бетонного покриття руліжних доріжок/злітно-посадкової смуги, при дефіциті часу, зростає імовірність засмоктування сторонніх предметів у тракт повітрозабірника під час руління повітряного судна.

На Gripen повітрозабірники розташовані з боків фюзеляжу, на великій відстані від штучного бетонного покриття льотного поля, що суттєво зменшує імовірність всмоктування сторонніх предметів в повітряний трак та подальшого ушкодження двигуна літака.

Лише дана конструктивна особливість JAS-39 підвищить надійність експлуатації літаків даного типу, навіть на аеродромах з ушкодженим штучним покриттям та як результат надасть можливість підіймати літаки у повітря.

(Додатково, таке розміщення повітрозабірників зменшує показник ЕПР «РЛС-помітність», оскільки компресор двигуна закритий від прямого огляду радара).

2. Підготовка літака до повторного вильоту.
В авіації кожна секунда важлива, кожна хвилина рятує життя. Тому компанія SAAB проєктувала літак «для швидкого повернення у повітря»: в оптимізованих сценаріях підготовки літака до повторного вильоту… В ідеальних умовах, час підготовки JAS-39 до повторного вильоту може складати 10 хвилин, що для мого усвідомлення «це нереально», адже потрібно витрати в декілька разів більше часу на підготовку до повторного вильоту повітряні судна радянського виробництва, або будь-якого іншого.

Уявімо, ти виконуєш завдання, щодо нанесення бомбового удару по наземним цілям, виконуєш посадку на оперативному аеродромі, котрий знаходиться «відносно недалеко, за мірками дислокації авіації, від лінії бойового зіткнення» для дозаправлення літака. Ти виконав посадку, хлопці з технічного персоналу готують літак до повторного вильоту (хочу вас запевнити, що це займає в рази більше часу ніж 10хв) і в момент підготовки є імовірність, що над аеродромом може зʼявитись ворожий БПЛА. Виявивши місце тимчасового розташування повітряного судна, є імовірність, що ворогом буде завданий удар балістикою по повітряному судну, у момент підготовки до повторного вильоту.
Довідково: загальний час з моменту виявлення розташування літака до ураження, може складати до 30 хвилин, час підльоту балістики від 2 до 4 хвилин.

Тому мінімізація витраченого часу на підготовку повітряного судна на землі, зменшить імовірність ураження під час перебування повітряного судна на землі, та найголовніше, збереже особовий склад котрий залучений до підготовки літака.

Також Gripen має опцію «hot refuel» тобто заправку літака на землі з двигуном, що працює, що особисто для мене «I need this stuff».

3. Універсальність у виборі номенклатури озброєння.
Завдяки допомозі партнерів України, ми використовуємо велику кількість сучасних та високотехнологічних засобів авіаційного ураження, що підняли рівень бойових спроможностей авіації Повітряних сил на зовсім новий рівень.
Буду відвертим, завжди потрібно більше ніж маємо авіаційних засобів ураження, щоб надавати необхідну підтримку наземному контингенту Сил Оборони України. Тому саме Gripen може використовувати як американського, так і європейського виробництва авіаційні засоби ураження, що суттєво підвищить наявний резерв БК.

4. Перспектива експлуатації «після війни».
Наразі, коли ми маємо фінансову підтримку від партнерів, ми можемо експлуатувати велику кількість різних типів повітряних суден, але потрібно думати, що буде потім?

Хочу привести просте дуже примітивне та грубе порівняння:
JAS-39- 1 година льотної експлуатації 5000-8000$
МіГ-29 - 1 година льотної експлуатації 10000-15000$.

Gripen вважається одним із самих дешевих в експлуатації винищувачів у світі.

5. Ракета класу «повітря-повітря» METEOR.
У цьому пункті будь-які коментарі зайві.

Я описав самі болючі теми для мене, котрі можна вирішити, отримавши даний літак, адже якщо описувати всю досконалість JAS-39 Gripen це займе велику купу часу.

Він один з самих вдалих і збалансованих літаків 4-го покоління винищувачів. Його кличуть «розумним винищувачем» за поєднання бойових спроможностей, економічності та сучасного авіаційного обладнання.
