There's something dangerous happening in our Educational sector and I hope the Government and stakeholders would swoop in to save what is left of the crumbling Education sector.
This week, JAMB released a new set of cutoff for various Educational institutions, with the scores being an all time low.
Those scores show that the bar is being lowered and the quality and expectation of Education in Nigeria is hitting an all time Nadir.
Today, Peller is interviewing supposed Masters degree holder and talking rudely to some, in a bid to employ them as photographers.
A young person will see that video on tiktok or any social media and ask himself or herself, why do I have to read?
Why do I have to get serious with my academics when after all my years of struggle, I can still end on the streets on Tiktok desperately looking for a job from a highly acclaimed streamer.
I worry for the future.
I worry for the young who are meant to take the reins of everything progressive in the country.
These cultures of making Education look worthless and a scam are injurious and deleterious to the next generation coming after us.
I do hope stakeholders and the government have a rethink.
