They just renamed the GST credit that’s existed since 1991 and slapped a shiny new label on it.

“Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit” drops today — up to $1,890 for a family of four, $950 for a single person.

Sounds generous until you realize:

- It’s the exact same GST/HST credit they’ve been sending for 35 years.
- Millions of struggling families don’t qualify (I don’t, even while supporting three adult kids).
- Middle-class families making over $55k who are barely hanging on? Shut out.

This is the same Liberal playbook:

GST credit → “Groceries and Essentials Benefit”
Carbon tax → “Consumer Carbon Price”
Climate incentive → “Canada Carbon Rebate”

They cancel something, rebrand it, and act like they just invented compassion.

Carney’s out here stealing platform ideas and selling them as bold new vision while the same families he claims to help get nothing.

This isn’t help.

It’s marketing.

You getting value for money?

Meanwhile in Canada:
- Only G20 country in a recession
- Bankruptcies through the roof
- Nearly 60% of families have nothing left at the end of the month
- Same government still spending thousands on chocolate and luxury butter in Rome while refusing to admit reality

We’re not “contributing to society.”

We’re funding a lifestyle most of us will never afford.

This isn’t taxation.

This is extraction.

The tool sits on your desktop, manages your calendar, triages your inbox, files expenses, and acts on your behalf. It requires access to your accounts and files. Security and compliance are things to "figure out" later. Nadella already uses it.

My Take
After everything this week, I think this document accidentally explains the entire AI business model. Not just Microsoft's, everyone's. The product can't sustain itself on current pricing. We know that because Copilot just proved it on Monday. The unit economics don't work at flat rate. So the play is to get people locked in before the real bill arrives. Make the tool essential to how you work, let your company cut the people who used to do those tasks, and by the time consumption pricing kicks in, walking away costs more than paying up.

IBM's CEO just told us the industry needs $6 to $8 trillion in capex to chase revenue he says doesn't exist. Google diluted shareholders to fund a buildout it can't cover from cash flow. Oracle fired 30,000 people during a record quarter to redirect salaries into data centers. And Microsoft's answer to all of that is an internal doc where step one is addiction. They're not selling the product on value. They're selling dependency. Get people hooked before anyone calculates what it costs to run, and make sure they can't leave once they find out. A product that needs addiction to survive is a product that can't survive on its own.

🚨 Canadians are NOT okay.

This guy in the truck just said what millions are feeling right now:

“I think we’re all just exhausted from having nothing.”

Two bags of groceries = $72.
Tank of gas = $60… and he filled up two days ago.
No matter how hard you work, how early you get up, or how much you make… you still end up with nothing.

Can’t afford a house.
Can’t afford food.
Can’t afford to live.

And the question he asks at the end is the one every Canadian should be asking:

Why is everyone in government getting richer while the rest of us are getting crushed?

A worker for a private charter company in Ontario claims they’re paid HUGE money to fly small planes and aerially disperse MILLIONS of ticks across specific regions — twice a year, early spring and early fall.

This year they switched to deer ticks specifically bred to withstand cold temperatures.

The company receives the ticks in boxes (each containing millions) and drops them from single or dual-prop aircraft with one pilot and one dispersal handler on board.

The post was made in mid-March… weeks before the story exploded.
