I'm a follower of Jesus, wife, mother of 3, mother-in-law to 1 and a Mimi....or some cooler name he might come up with! Love teaching and digging in the Word.
@reachjulieroys Wow!! THIS IS EXCELLENT LEADERSHIP!!! Julie, as painful as this is to receive hard correction…your humility and true “owning” it is a fantastic example and leads to true healing! I’ve been there…you knew what you knew at the time, but now you know better and you willing to grow
@joelrainey Thank you…I felt throughly taught that I (as a woman) was one of the most dangerous threats on the earth, to my brothers in Christ, and then…once married, I was his cure…and it was my responsibility to keep him pure. Sigh. It’s too much to bear…
@dpcassidyC3 It needs to be sobering to others/me. It reminds me of Solomon. He was used by The Lord, given incredible gifts, saw amazing things....but when he was old. Here is another example of that. It could be me. I desperately want to “finish well”. It won’t happen by accident.
In complicated times when we’re not sure how we’re going to navigate the days and challenges ahead and we know it’s going to get rough, 2 basic instructions in 7 words can cover a whole lot of ground:
“Trust in the Lord and do good.”
Psalm 37:3
@BethMooreLPM I have deeply appreciated your leadership, my sister. Truly thankful. I don’t know you personally but you have encouraged me greatly. Thankful for your part.
From the Capitol Historical Society: “This is the first time the US Capitol has been breached since the British attacked and burned the building in August of 1814 during the war of 1812”. A little historical perspective.
Peaceable transitions of power have marked our Republic since the beginning. It is part of honoring and submitting to God’s ordained leaders whether they were our choice or not. We need you, @POTUS to condemn this mob. Let’s move forward together. Praying for safety.
@kim_brough@AmandaMoJo@MelissaMoore77 It’s a beautiful picture of mother/daughter and sisterhood! Thank you all for loving each other and the Body well, not perfectly (no pressure intended!) but well! It encourages me greatly!
@BethMooreLPM Thank you. Brave and needed words. Baffled, although I probably shouldn’t be, grieved and sobered. You’re 10 years ahead of me...thank you for the example of finishing well. I desperately want to finish well with eyes fixed on Jesus!
