Really struggling with the reality check that I’m a parent (first and foremost this) but that a lot of the things I expected to experience from it are not things that will happen. Weird when your control issues don’t actually pan out.

Being a mom means wake at 6:30, make bed, run the laundry, feed dogs and kids, 8 hours of meetings, crochet, put away dishes, fill dishwasher, more laundry, craft while kids bathe, dress them, spoon feed the little, 3 books, and Zelda + chipotle +.5 bottle of wine. Normal day.
