He went. Of course he went... man's been raving about Barcelona for YEARS and you think he'd miss his one chance to go see it in person? 😭 oh Yoongi NEVER CHANGE
we have to highlight how the armys of Mexico went and exposed the faces of the people outside the hotel where the members were staying and that they also went to throw eggs and flour at them
i really love how jungkook’s ambassadorships have managed to be so diverse in range but still so HIM at the core; like who else could pull off chanel perfumes, hublot, calvin klein, AND graff at once if not him
like yall not embarrassed of getting called out multiple times? what even is the point of camping outside their hotel like do you not have homes? are you not ashamed?
graff sits at the very pinnacle of ultra-luxury jewellery. they still don't have an X acc and only joined tiktok days ago because their clientele solely consists of the elite. they never had to market to the masses. them joining tiktok just to promote jungkook’s campaign is huge.
A fellow ARMY friend shared something interesting with me today.
She recently went on a date with a Korean guy who said he used to work as a translator for K-pop idols around 2016.
As they were talking about his old job, he mentioned that, according to his experience, some idols had completely different personalities once the cameras were off. He described seeing some of them casually lean back in their chairs, barely looking at the staff, then simply flick or wave a finger to summon them over instead of speaking to them directly. He said some could be very dismissive, demanding, and outright rude behind the scenes, despite appearing warm and charming on camera.
My friend admitted she started getting nervous because BTS had already debuted by then, and she wondered what he was going to say about them.
Instead, he told her that, from what he'd heard through the industry grapevine at the time, BTS had a reputation for being incredibly polite and consistently respectful toward the staff they worked with.
Obviously, this is just a secondhand story from one former industry worker, not something that proves anything universally. But I still thought it was a really lovely story to hear.
i wish they “well they’re celebrities” argument would die out. being a celebrity does not equal anyyyy of the harassment/stalking they face on a daily basis 😭
