Fire is a weapon of mass destruction. We need to treat it like the national security threat it is. In the last admin, "ologists" hijacked billions intended for fire management & laundered it to activist eco-NGOs. 60% of fire units are understaffed *right now*.
Instead of the USFS investing in aggressive fuel mitigation & more firefighters & aircraft, they were wasting the money on climate agendas and funding dubious nonprofits staffed up by socialists. They even wasted $100M for NEPA reviews...that's $100M just for paper pushers to review project compliance with the dumbest, most counterproductive arbitrary environmental rules that block prescribed fire from ever being done...the VERY thing that destroyed my town (and many others in CA).
We weren't allowed to reduce flammable fuels around the Palisades because the State Park was "protecting" milk vetch plants, a stupid weed you've never heard of nor cared about in your life. As a result, a dozen of my neighbors died, hundreds more died as a result of the toxic smoke and displacement, and thousands of us lost everything. A $500K fuel reduction project around the Palisades would've saved the entire town & Malibu. But because we were wasting $100M on environmental regs that block fuel reduction projects...we got screwed.
Ologists are the commies of the forest. Get these dorks out of the way. We are losing too much, every damn year.
Jeremy Clarkson opened a pub in August 2024 with one rule: every single ingredient British. Here is what that rule immediately deleted from a perfectly ordinary pub.
- No coffee.
- No Coca-Cola.
- No gin and tonic. Quinine will not grow here.
- No lemons. No limes.
- No ketchup, for two years.
- No avocado. No pineapple.
His own line was that instead of a slice of lemon you would be offered a slice of turnip.
That list is not a gimmick. It is an audit of how much of a normal British menu now arrives by ship, and the answer turns out to be most of the small things nobody thinks about.
Then the figure underneath it all. A sausage made from his own pigs costs 74p. The same sausage made from imported pig meat costs 18p. He is absorbing that gap on every plate that leaves the kitchen, which is precisely the gap every British pig farmer is asked to compete across, without a television programme paying the difference.
And the ketchup has the best ending in the whole story. So many people asked for it that a sign went up telling them to stop. Then a producer in Chatham built one out of Isle of Wight passata, Hampshire cider vinegar and Essex salt, and it went on the menu.
The demand was always sat there. Nobody had bothered building the supply.
I don't know who these idiots are making up this idea that competitive sports are not exclusionary. It's dumb and provably false at every turn.
No heavy weights in the welter weight category.
No high schooler baseball players in little league.
Only 6-7% of high school athletes go on to play in college (because the others aren't good enough!)
Only 1% of men's college football and basketball athletes go pro.
Less than .2% of college athletes make the Olympics
Pick a new catch phrase, this one -- "exclusion is never the answer" -- is almost as dumb as "trans women are women." Not quite. Nothing will ever beat that one for stupidity.
Why do we pay retired politicians for life after they completely destroyed the middle class and raised our national debt?
It’s time to end their pensions.
Thank you! In the first 24 hours, we raised $30,000 toward our $270,000 goal.
Every donation, share, like, and comment helps us keep The X for Boys & Girls free for every child we serve.
We’re just getting started. Let’s keep building together. ❤️
I know mothers who have been told they have “failed” a parenting assessment because they did not cut up a grape before giving it to their child. Or because they left boiled water too long before adding milk powder. But men are allowed to force children to suck their nipples and ingest noxious substances- because they want to?
One of our girls lost her purse at the restaurant… or so she thought. 👀
We turned it into a lesson on protecting your belongings. It only takes a few seconds for someone to walk away with your purse.
Better to learn it with us than the hard way!
Bill Maher on Data Centers: “To put it in perspective… golf uses WAY MORE [water than data centers]. Golf and f*cking raising… almonds is the thing we raise here. Like almonds and golf, I’m against both of them.”
“I’m not against almonds I’m against raising them where we don’t have water to do it. And it’s like 7 TIMES the amount of water is being used on golf courses [than data centers].”
“So maybe the issue itself is water.”
🚨 SOPHIE CUNNINGHAM DID BOTH!
Dropped threes on Portland.
Silenced the crowd.
Helped the Fever to their 5th straight win.
Then walked outside to a rally full of young girls thanking her for saying the obvious:
Men don’t belong in women’s sports.
No apology.
Elon Musk was asked by a teenager at a public event what he should study in school to be like Elon when he grows up.
He said "don't try to be like me. I'm not happy."
The audience laughed nervously. Elon didn't laugh. He let the silence sit for a moment then continued. He said the things that make him effective at building companies are the same things that make him terrible at being a person. The obsession that produces rockets destroys relationships. The work ethic that saves companies ruins health. The focus that solves impossible problems blinds him to the simple ones happening in his own house.
He told the teenager that the version of success the world sees is real but incomplete. The rockets are real. The loneliness is also real. The wealth is real. The inability to sit still for five minutes without feeling like something is being wasted is also real. Both exist in the same person at the same time and he's not sure the trade was worth it.
He said if the teenager wants to build things that matter he should do it. But he should do it with his eyes open. Knowing the cost isn't hypothetical. It's specific. It's every birthday he missed. Every relationship he watched dissolve. Every morning he woke up and felt the weight of his own choices pressing down before his feet hit the floor.
The teenager asked a question about success. Elon answered with a warning. And the warning was more valuable than any success story because it came from the only person qualified to give it. The man living inside the answer.
OH MY GOSH!
CBS 21 came by our @EarlyVoteAction booth at the York State Fair
& I used EVERY second to spit facts on television to the American people:
“In 2008, Al Franken was elected by 312 votes.
In New Jersey, Governor Mikie Sherrill — democrat — said that 6,600 illegal aliens are on the voter rolls and 400 of those voted.
400 is more than 312. Anyone that says 400 is a low number: a statewide election was decided by that.
Congressman John Duarte lost by 187 votes.
Congresswoman Michelle Steel lost by 653 votes.
Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks won by 6 votes.
I know my stats.”
CRUSHED IT!
@JoelDReports
The earliest written evidence of a slave owning society was Mesopotamia ~6000–2000 BC.
But for some reason the people most vilified for slavery are the ones who fought to end it.
White Westerns are responsible for ending legal slave trade.
Facts that are hidden.
Weird, right?
