@KayBurley I think you should apologise for your disgusting comment on AMW being a war hero whilst discussing Epstein victims. Trust me, you'll thank me
Our learning disability and older people's community teams are all using a national 'reasonable adjustment digital flag' to better meet people's needs.
The flag is a tool on Paris, our electronic patient record, which shows when a person needs adjustments to support their care.
@autcareandshare Well said! My so. Can hold a conversation and say some really sensible things and can walk and run. But. If he left the house alone he'd be in danger of being run over, hurt or abused. As you say, what you see is far from the full story
@kevharrison_ I have no answers but understand. My lad stays up most of the night doing his own thing on his iPad and games. He's just a night owl and loves that there is less noise in the night I think. Difference is he eats so we have accepted it. It's tough though, I hear ya! X
@tomhfh We lease a mobility car for my disabled son who can't leave the house on his own due to a severe LD. He lives with us, we are saving the government 000's. We have appointments that we take him too as public transport is too difficult plus we both work. This isn't an easy option
@charliersmith1 You look absolutely fabulous. Really fit and healthy. Remember that those who harp on about being thin are sometimes fighting their own body issues - or are just damn rude! Either way, it's not your problem. You are looking great, keep going ❤️
@kevharrison_ I remember in the late 80's/early 90'a dreading the millennium as I would be 29! Here I am at 53 in shock at how long ago the millenium was! lol
@ValPotter18@autcareandshare I taught my son words by singing. He could sing songs but hardly speak. Then over time he developed his speech. If he loves music, this may trigger him to learn his words. ❤️
