But they also changed it to be 5 points for every $1 spent outside of their brands. So it’s the same scale but just times 5. Why?? I was 🤏close to cancelling thinking the rewards was no longer worth it. This was a dumb marketing move.

@OldNavy @Barclays needlessly made the credit card rewards more complicated. They updated it to be 500 points=$1 reward. Used to be 100 points=$1. I was getting ready to cancel the card thinking it was a 0.2% return as it 1 point earned for every $1 spent outside their brands.
