Three talking heads, and not a single one of them knows the DNA sample in question was too degraded for CODIS upload.

@aburkhartlaw really fucks this up, going all the way back to Payne’s incorrect explanation as to why that sample was not uploaded to CODIS (he talked about it kicking out the primary sample, which isn’t an actual thing).

In the latest batch of documents (expert disclosures), the explanation is that sample was not eligible because of its location, and other issues.

But there were much bigger problems with this DNA - mixture and degradation.
