Keon Ellis’ basketball journey could be made into a movie.

He went from averaging only 12 PPG as a senior in high school to playing 2 years at a junior college.

Earned a transfer to Alabama for his junior year but only averaged 5 pts and 4 rebs as a junior. His senior year he made the SEC All-Defensive team but ended up going undrafted in the 2022 NBA draft.

Played well enough in the summer league to earn a 2-way contract with the Sacramento Kings. Spent his first year with the Kings mostly in the G-League.

In his second season with the Kings he showed his worth to the first team and earned a 3 year guaranteed deal and a spot on the team.

And on March 13, 2024, he started against the LeBron James led Los Angeles Lakers on National TV and not only got a 120-107 win, but earned national recognition for his defense.

Keon is a great example of perseverance and never giving up on your dream. We are lucky to have him. 🔥💯
