@sheathescholar I wasn't ever in band, but my son is and it's amazing to me how they are so talented, hard-working, and supportive of each other. Headed to a competition now! Thanks for the band love!

@ValeriaBrownEdu My school has transitioned to what we call a block party. We provide dinner while parents can meet teachers and enjoy a community expo then do a self guided tour of the school and pick up one pagers about each teacher. Our community loves it!

My son just asked me what my favorite radioactive element is. "And, please don't pick plutonium, that's too predictable. I mean, if people have the entire lanthanide series to choose from, why do people insist on plutonium? It's so basic."
