May comes to a close and while I still hold a vision of @elonmusk taking a moment to consider ALS, I’ve got to be honest with myself.

I said I’d post every day in May. I did not. Many might say that most days are good enough. People facing ALS don’t have that luxury. Every single day represents an unfair percentage of the time they have left to be fully functioning, autonomous, free-from-aid human beings.

This is something I believe we can solve. But it will take courage, innovation, and the ability to see the body’s systems in an engineering paradigm. Last time I tag you @elonmusk… but just consider it.

The more you watch Elon Musk, the more obvious it becomes that this was never just about money. He could have walked away years ago and lived in total comfort for the rest of his life. Instead, he chose constant pressure, sleepless nights, and one impossible mission after another. He does it because he genuinely believes humanity can achieve so much more if we push ourselves harder.

He is 54 years old and still working with the intensity of someone half his age. Grinding until 3am at the office, working every waking hour seven days a week. People keep betting against him, and he keeps winning. You can disagree with him on things, but you cannot deny the level of dedication, sacrifice, and belief he has put into pushing humanity forward.

History is repeating itself once again.

Do you want a world where there's no conflict? But how do you achieve a world of no conflict at all without some form of suppression?

So my guess is probably people would want a future with some conflict, not total peace, not a serious war perhaps.”
