@ShumateAP @Cassie1Eric @GSDTechnology A long line indeed. 50 min outside 25 min inside...including the after shot party. Yes, Kathy! I also walked out looking like Tammy Faye Bakker! Lol #nomascaraneeded
@CoachesSms@ClassTechTips A9: I miss my SMS family so much. This week I’ve had an awesome surprise delivery from @CoachesSms. You both have done an incredible job providing tips and support during our time away. Thank you @KathyGF and @RachelAHoover19!
@CoachesSms@ClassTechTips A7: I have to say google meet. I can’t work one on one without it. I have to be able to see what students are talking about when they ask specific questions. “I don’t get it” is more frustrating virtually than it ever was face to face.
@CoachesSms@ClassTechTips A8: I’m planning a virtual beach party! Everyone loves a good spirit day and these students are so ready for summer after this looooonnnnnggg spring.
@CoachesSms@ClassTechTips A5: During meets I have cheered and encourage students through the chats as they participate in class discussions. I have emailed and sent postcards. Today after a student meet I told his mom in the background to double up on tonight’s desserts 🍨
@CoachesSms@ClassTechTips Q4: My students that struggled the most with the transition to remote learning had more than a few calls and emails home. I found that communication with parent was most helpful in getting to the bottom of possible issues in the continuation of learning.
@CoachesSms@ClassTechTips A2: Not all students are self learners. Students that struggle require the one on one attention that is so difficult to come by during a quarantine. Keeping scheduled time together is so important.
@CoachesSms@ClassTechTips A1: I have been lucky enough to get some of my students working together on many assignments. During a meet, one student will present screen we work on it together. We’ve had some great discussion during my meets as well (not all school related).
@CoachesSms@burgessdave A9: My girl, @DoliberDairrai!! She has been an awesome co-teacher this year and has come up with creative and amazing lessons that keep the students interested and having fun.
@CoachesSms@burgessdave A8: Lessons? Drama and dance and incorporated in my everyday life!! WE NEED FUN! Love dancing with my students, fun hall walking and inspirational songs that I make up and sing on the spot. I know my students miss laughing at me.
@CoachesSms@burgessdave Q7: I love to play music during some independent work time. My classes (and neighboring teachers) really enjoy my music as much as much as I like their selections. Rock on @01dturley🤘🏼
@CoachesSms@burgessdave A1: I try to be sure to differ from other activities teacher use so kids aren’t answering the same questions all day. I prefer activities where they learn about each other and me.
@CoachesSms@TeachFromRidge A9: growing up in this district.... back in the day Barb G was the most requested teacher. I was a very lucky 4th grade Weiss Warrior. 🍎
