@quietbill88 @cdnpoli101 Maybe she doesn’t want to be publicly scrutinized. I sure wouldn’t want to be. The right is relentless with their attacks and are even worse to people that shatter their made up reality. They threaten lives and everything. Why would she want to put herself through that?
@CaSPeRxGHoST_1@TheoAnonis @cdnpoli101 You mean the anti-abortion bills he has voted FOR in recent years. All we have to do is look at the current Conservative Party, their rhetoric, the bills they have put forth and his voting record.
@colin_lohrer@PeterHRatcliffe They have to have their own carbon initiative but it doesn’t need to be a carbon tax. It can be cap and trade for example.
@WisdomKeeper6@malolisica@ColinDMello Also, you clearly have reading comprehension issues. I didn’t mention anything about the mortality rate in my comment so what exactly are you calling BS about? Lol. I mentioned transmission rates (R0). My comment was based on factual data.
@WisdomKeeper6@malolisica@ColinDMello 1% is still very high when you consider how many people that actually is. Also, death is not the only outcome of Covid. Millions of people are now living with permanent, life altering disabilities and chronic conditions now due to their Covid infections, even mild cases.
@WisdomKeeper6@malolisica@ColinDMello The flu and common cold viruses are far less contagious than covid so when people were taking more precautions, of course these viruses were spreading way less. Nothing has been relabeled. 🤦🏻♀️ They are different viruses.
@GenerallyBrock@perpetual_sisu There’s a difference between knowingly and willingly spreading a deadly and debilitating virus during a pandemic vs wearing a mask to protect yourself because said virus is dangerous for immune compromised people. One is deliberately causing harm to others, one isn’t.
@theBrianaMills My previous Dr. Required masks in her office long before Covid because she almost passed away from H1N1. Masks aren’t new and they are effective but everyone acts like it’s a completely new concept and people JUST started wearing them. Healthcare workers aren’t helping either.
@Nursebrit0504@theBrianaMills Do you feel the same about intoxicated drivers? Just let them do whatever they want no matter how many people they harm? Because that’s how silly you sound.
@CdeRoiste@theBrianaMills What did people do before they knew hand washing was effective? When you know better, you do better. Refusing to adapt when new information is presented just shows willful ignorance, selfishness and maybe even some denial which is an unhealthy coping mechanism.
@Jody537LN@mmdaviesostrom@theBrianaMills The issue is that the government isn’t allowing them to bill for certain things therefor to get paid, they need us to go into the office now, which makes it unnecessarily more difficult for people with disabilities to navigate our health care system.
@mmdaviesostrom@theBrianaMills It’s ridiculous. I also live in Ontario and now have to travel hours to some of my appointments that I was able to do virtually. The government pays the travel costs so it’s not like it’s cost effective and traveling is really difficult on me and causes a flare every time.
