The merger was a mess, now it’s bizarre,
Booked Air India, but got a seat on Vistara,
Can’t choose a seat; the staff, oh dear!
But everything will be fine when the new planes are here!

Hindi film fandom is divided into two types: those who love Andaz Apna Apna and those who just don't get the love that this film garners.
A thread (🧵) on the iconic film that is often incorrectly thought of as Shashi Tharoor's cinema debut!
Promoting talent is often misunderstood ("why don't we wait 6 mths"?) IMHO it's an investment question of choosing between 2 risks: staffing the role at the wrong level vs promoting the wrong person. More often than not, the first risk is higher.
Orgs with conflicting objectives are best converged higher. Difficult to choose between objectives or encourage healthy tension for innovation to emerge at middle levels.
@vijayshekhar All the best. The payments space in India needs PayTM. Not only as a payment system participant, but also to innovate and move the space forward.
Collaboration isn't social cohesion, but agreeing on decision-making frameworks, early escalation of fundamental misalignments, and trusting someone else's ownership on an area. It's painstaking, but endures.
Tks @kunalb11 for pushing me to post!
Exorbitant prices for mediocre food. Rude staff with no clue abt Goan hospitality. People lying drunk on the streets. Tourists you'd rather avoid.
My dear Goa, pls get well and come back strong soon. Hurts to see you this way. ❤️
@virsanghvi
People who complain about Indian airports: try Seattle. Consistently disappoints. Most Indian airports on their worst day are better than Seattle by a mile 🙂
The basic principle of driving / traffic rules is that if you're driving straight and in your lane, you only need to look ahead (and sometimes behind). But in Bangalore, you also need to look sideways 😀
Good ppl of B'lore. Just had a hit & run. Biker was speeding & couldn't manage a turn, crashed into my car. Refused to share insurance. Any chance finding out his number? Managed a pic somehow. KA 04 KJ 5611. Will file an FIR tmrw!
@MotorOctane The scooter. The car has right of way, it's the scooter who's crossing into its path, and it must let the car pass. IMO, this is as per driving rules in India, but we need more awareness about right of way.
@baxirahul Goan Mankuraad. On its worst day, it's better than the best Alphonso. Or Langda. Or whatever.
The End. Move On. :-)
@NSawaikar@DrPramodPSawant agree with me?
@virsanghvi @airindiain Yes, something's cooking!! Tried the murg xacuti (it was really good). Really wish they get back to their glory days.
