The suggestion is freeze the system and to stop the traditional economy for an interim period while Covid-19 escalates. Stop all debts, mortgages, staff payments: stop everything. Provide a basic payment to all UK citizens to cover food, medicine and basic needs.

It would work!

@amazon when are you going to deliver things in reusable packaging that you take back when you deliver rather than leaving customers with cardboard boxes? Imagine the impact if you transitioned to post #singleuse cardboard?

@AmazonHelp Some great initiatives and savings to date - but there is a bigger picture. The existing programme appears to focus on the recycling and minimisation of #singleuse boxes - sustainability has moved on from here and @amazon should too. #stopsingleuse #stopcardboardwaste
