Pulisic couldn’t have had a worse match. Terrible touches, turnovers, then gets hurt kicking a dude’s foot instead of the ball annnnnd he’s out. Total bed shitting. At least he’s cashing in with like 10 different commercials right now. I never want to see his face again.
@New_Man@cantguardjake Yeah this is the biggest problem to me. We’re the fucking United States and don’t have anyone better to put out there than a 38 year old with a man bun
My favorite thing about Electric Avenue in particular is that an entity of otherworldly proportions begins piloting Bam's body once the first stun gun zaps him.
@keeptrolling7 This will never be a good trade. Giving up two 1st-round picks for a corner that doesn’t
1. Force turnovers
2. Tackle
Is absolutely insane
This franchise is now literally built on bad juju.
The problem with going too far with analytics is you completely wipe away considerations of karma and vibes. Just because you can't measure it with numbers does not mean it is not a real factor.
Insulting your fan base's favorite player and letting him leave without an offer is bad juju.
Not allowing one of your stars to play in the WBC when it meant the world to him is bad juju. (Don't tell me this didn't happen it absolutely did and you could tell he was heartbroken.)
Trading away another favorite when there was no reason to for an older worse player is bad juju.
Building a casino in the parking lot is bad juju.
Having a dance crew on the dugouts while the team is getting shellacked is bad juju.
Ejecting a fan for holding a sign against a failing GM is the ultimate bad juju.
At some point you gotta take a step back and realize the entire aura around this franchise stinks and I am not talking about the historical lovable loser aura. I am talking about the new regime that is completely based on analytics and profit. Over time the fans will always come back if they win and nobody will care about the lost 2026 season but the direction they are headed is a cold and soulless one.
