Being kind doesn't mean you have to be easily available ♥️
I can love you and respect you but still reject your calls because I'm not in the headspace to speak.
People think we are unkind or rude when we don't want to take calls.
Mercy is when you can't even explain how you're surviving, but you are. You don't have it all figured out, but each day, God sends help right when you need it. Hallelujah.
I never really understood what God meant in Ecclesiastes 3:1 when He said, “To everything there is a season…” Because I used to think hard seasons meant I was doing something wrong. I didn’t understand why friendships faded, relationships hurt so badly, or why life felt heavy even when I was trying my best. I kept wanting every season to feel good, stable, and make sense.
But the older I get, the more I realize not every season is meant to be comfortable. Some stretch you, humble you, heal you, and teach you who and what truly matters. There are seasons where you feel lost, outgrow people, and cry more than you’d like. But there are also seasons where you find peace, start choosing yourself, and God rebuilds what life tried to break.
I think that’s what the verse really means. Life won’t always feel the same. People won’t always stay. Things won’t always go according to plan. But every season has a purpose, even the painful ones. So if you’re in a hard season right now, don’t assume your life is falling apart. Some seasons are meant to grow you into the person you’ve been praying to become. 🤍
My newest prayer is simple: “Lord, settle it.” Settle my mind. Settle my heart. Settle my spirit. Teach me to walk in peace instead of anxiety, and faith instead of fear. 🤍
Ruth went from working in the fields to becoming part of the very blessing she once labored in. Her story reminds us that your current position doesn’t define your final outcome. What feels small, overlooked, or uncertain right now may be the place God is setting you up for something greater. She stayed faithful and obedient. In God’s timing, everything shifted.
“So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife… and the Lord enabled her to conceive, and she gave birth to a son.” Ruth 4:13
That same God is still working. Don’t underestimate how quickly things can change. One moment you’re just trying to get through, the next God is elevating you into something you never saw coming. Stay faithful where you are. Trust the process. God can turn your situation around faster than you think.
I didn’t fully understand what Romans 8:28 meant when it says, “all things work together for good,” until I went through a season where nothing felt good at all. The truth is, some seasons don’t look like blessings. They look like confusion, delays, loss, and things falling apart. In those moments, it’s easy to wonder how any of this could possibly be working for me. But I’ve realized God doesn’t waste anything not the pain, the waiting, or even the mistakes. He turns what feels like a setback into part of the setup. So if life feels heavy right now and everything seems off, it’s not meaningless or random. Something is still being worked out, even if you can’t see it yet. Stay grounded. Keep your faith. One day it will come together and make sense, and you’ll realize it was working for you all along.
Njengoba ngikhula every day ngiya realize yazi ukuthi empilweni ave sengizifundisile ukuthula, I literally have nothing to say anymore. I observe. let things be and move on silently, I don't have the energy yokukhuluma nokuchaza nkosiyami and I love that for me ❤️
If you're serious about healing, there are four people you have to forgive first.
One,
Your parents, living or gone. Whether they did their best or fell short, they gave you life. And holding on to what they couldn't give you will only keep you stuck. Thank them for what they could offer and let the rest go.
Two,
The people you once loved, the ones who didn't stay, the ones who couldn't meet you where you were. Wish them peace. Wish them healing. But stop reopening a door that life already closed.
Three.
Everyone else who hurt you. Friends, strangers, people who let you down. You don't need an apology to forgive. You need your peace. Wipe the slate clean. Not for them, for you.
Four.
Yourself, the hardest one. The version of you that made mistakes, that didn't know better. You can't carry the past forever. This is now. Forgiveness isn't weakness. It's release. And you can't move forward if you're still dragging everything behind you.
I prayed to God every night. Same prayers. Same tears. Same requests.
Nothing changed.
Until a scholar told me something that shook me:
“You’re talking to God but you haven’t stopped to let Him talk back.”
My uncle divorced his wife in his forties.
Married someone else within a year.
Divorced her two years later.
Then remarried his first wife.
I asked him why.
His answer stopped me cold:
Lot’s wife didn’t turn back because she was evil.
She turned back because she was attached.
And it cost her everything.
Be careful what you keep looking back at.
I don't know who needs to see this, but Isaiah 60:22 says, "When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen." So relax. You're not behind, you're not forgotten, and you're not late. God's timing is still working in your favor.
Petrol is going up. Electricity is going up. Food keeps going up. You can't control these things. But you can DOWNGRADE YOUR LIFE.
Get a cheaper car. Move your child to a cheaper school. Eat cheaper. Etc. Take control of your life. Before you get depressed.
