He already has a property worth about £1m in the village of Downe in Kent, as well as two houses in Lydd-on Sea in the same county, which are owned through his company, Thorn in the Side. He also has property in Tandridge in Surrey.

As Farage already owns other properties, the purchase of another residential property in his name would have resulted in a higher rate of stamp duty being charged.

The duty would have been 10% rather than the 5% rate.

My Dad was able to buy a house, have two kids, pay the bills, we were middle class on one salary. We had same day GP, ambulances within mins, dentists, good education, good public transport, clean beaches and rivers. Now even two salaries would struggle. And the UKs gone to SHIT. Yet somehow it’s migrants fault? Like what? Not the developers, buying in bulk and price gouging everyone else out of being able to buy a property. Soo i went to the womens section at the water park to change my clothing and a women GRABBED me and demanded to see my ID 😐 she looked at me with such disgust and it hurt :(

Well, i showed my ID that said FEMALE and all she said was "you are not one of us" and left ...

I just wanted to change my clothes in peace to go swimming as a trans person 🙁 is it okay to treat me that way ? I didnt mean any harm 🥹💕
