Meanwhile 🌙 already had her character arc in fruition before we meet her and it had a nice conclusion to it Flames arc

Whats stupid about Tsukuyo returning and becoming a love interest in 0 seconds is said originally she and the rest of the scarred victims were still women. How would her life be different? She would be caged, beaten and used like Hinowa was her whole life. Why do we ignore that Hinowa had a far more traumatic life than Tsukuyo? To care about your looks after giving the other women their scars is a huge backhand to those characters and the original writing of Tsukuyo’s character.

@Fireball0075 Zenzo was THE PERFECT choice for this role. We didn’t get anything that would have elevated the role of the Oniwabanshu before the ending arcs. We needed to get to know Zenzo and Sachan the warriors before getting connectivity with the Shogun.

I’ve been holding back too long: Red Spider arc was fishy, the characters and layout are questionable and Gintoki’s reveal deserved better treatment. The backstory reveal is used to help glue an irrelevant character to the forefront fast rather than serve the series overall 🍓

原作読んでない福田も論外だけど、読んだ上で改変した大炎上Pも十分タチが悪い。内容を知ってるのにヒット狙いで関係ないキャラを足したり重要なシーンをカットしてキャラの根幹を損なうなんて違うでしょ。原作を読んだからってだけで褒める気にはなれないし、リスペクト不足の事実は何も変わらない。

インタビューでの発言を理由に福田だけが叩かれてるの、個人的にはダブスタすぎて理解できない。大炎上スタッフも福田も金儲けのために勝手に原作改変したって事実は変わらないでしょ。言葉遣いが慎重なら原作へのリスペクト不足が許される風潮はシンプルに矛盾してる。
