Join us for our next live #clojure episode with @metosin co-founder @ikitommi Sunday 17th March at 20:00 (Europe/Amsterdam) https://t.co/WxvO6ZbMDk - tweet at us with questions ;)
Recently I've read several articles like this one https://t.co/y3ASJokkFQ on why Finns are so happy. However ahead of @ClojuTRE I've found a much more convincing explanation: Finns spend 4 times as much as any other country on Cursive licences. Coincidence? I think not. #Clojure
"Simplicity is hard work. But, there's a huge payoff. The person who has a genuinely simpler system - a system made out of genuinely simple parts, is going to be able to affect the greatest change with the least work..." @richhickey
Amen to that. 👆 #Clojure
The keynote for Small FP is delivered by Bodil Stokke, showing diagrams with brightly coloured boxes in an enthusiastic effort to explain why RRB trees are amazingly exciting. https://t.co/xtA3lnSagL

"What is programming? Where does the difficulty come from? What is a `natural' programming concept?" Attila Egri-Nagy will lighten these questions in his talk about the philosophy of programming. https://t.co/kq9VVftem6

Something for framework authors to keep in mind… Mathematicians come up with a LOT of abstractions. Like, a lot. This is just what they do. Not all of those abstractions have any practical purpose. It's totally ok not to implement most of them.
Clojure web servers can be fast too: 1M+ requests/sec with Reitit, Jsonista and Immutant (perf fork) on latest TechEmpower bench. https://t.co/ktpa9XqHLA
We are happy to introduce Reitit, a new fast data-driven routing library for Clojure(Script)! Intro blogs: https://t.co/7hey7QGgmS & https://t.co/APdKP0embK
Created a small Clojure wrapper for java.lang.Thread. I know threads are unfashionable in the Clojure world, but sometimes they're the right tool for the job. https://t.co/bAPbItVYUh
