For anyone who is super jazzed about this, a few things to remember.

1)

That's after having dedicated very significant federal law enforcement effort to this cause.

Many, many millions of Americans will vote this November. Over 120 million in a presidential year.

State and local governments who have thoroughly audited their voter rolls have, yes, found noncitizens who voted in past elections.

Yavapai County, Arizona is the latest to announce the completion of such a voter roll audit. It has about 200,000 registered voters. It found 4 noncitizens who had voted in a past election.

Even BIG screw ups, like the one recently announced in New Jersey, led to only 400 noncitizens voting in a past election.

There are 6.68 million registered voters in New Jersey.

Even when we identify noncitizens voting, it's absurd to simply take that raw number and assume that they all voted in the election you care about and they all voted against your candidate.

Noncitizens have been prosecuted for voting Republican. They've been prosecuted voting Dem.

The Census Bureau does not normally release unsigned, half-finished reports.

But this one calls itself "A Beginning Analysis." It doesn't name the author.

I've seen this before. This is a way of slipping in shoddy claims with the excuse that it's not yet fully investigated.

I saw this with the Cyber Ninjas who released a preliminary report. But never released a final report.

I saw this with the Arizona Attorney General in 2021, who released a preliminary report, but never a final report.

The methodology of this Census report is slim on details, but...

- They seemingly used a private vendor to collect the "voted files." Not the actual government-issued voted files.

- Even the government voted files would not have things like SSN-4 or DL-10 to allow for a hard match to other data.

- Then they matched that with databases of known citizens. But we know those lists are incomplete because it's been tested with the SAVE Program. https://t.co/jd0klMHXtf

- Then they're using the ABSENCE of confirmation on citizen lists as confirmation that the person is a noncitizen. That's sus (as the kids say). And again, they're not working from hard matching.

Even if we accept the Census report as 100% accurate (I would bet everything that it's not), 24,000 records out of 128 million records is 0.019%

(Arizona = 1,100. Georgia = 400. Pennsylvania = a clean 1,000).

These numbers conflict with the DHS numbers recently reported on 4 states (California, New Jersey, Nevada, Pennsylvania)

Even if we accept these Census numbers as true.

And even if we accept that every one of these unlawful voters voted for Joe Biden in 2020...

It still would have changed 0 states for the presidential contest.

It's always shocking to me that people think that noncitizens would be willing to risk their status in the U.S., and the freedoms and financial gains that result, in order to cast 1 more ballot in a race.

Especially when about only about 50% of eligible U.S. citizens will vote in this upcoming November midterm election.
