📢 #Odisha #Cabinet Approves #GOMATA Scheme!

The new state scheme “Goal for Management and Treatment of Animals” will be implemented from 2024-25 to 2026-27, with a budget of Rs. 342.66 Cr. This initiative brings treatment, vaccination, disease control & surveillance to livestock farmers’ doorstep, helping to enhance the production and productivity of #livestock. 🐄🐐

Thanks to the proactive efforts of Dr. Rajesh Kuanr, BVO Basudevpur, Bhadrak district over 535 Animal Husbandry Dairying and Fisheries Kisan Credit Card (KCC) applications have been sponsored for farmers, with 130 successfully sanctioned in just 2 weeks! This initiative highlights a strong collaboration between Bankers, ARD officials and farmers, enhancing credit access for livestock and agricultural needs.

Encourage KCC uptake in your block by adopting innovative approaches, and help us support our farmers!
