@sakunigg @wholelottatr3y Lex acts “like a whiny toddler” in the animated series but he never comes across as juvenile, immature & hollow as he does in the movie.
“Show don’t tell” still applies. It’s the same reason Gunn opted to cut Supes saying “It hurts my feelings!” Theres a scale to these things.
@sakunigg @wholelottatr3y I am so tired of this gay ass argument. Do u not understand nuance or variation?
“Superman is supposed to be cringe.” “Lex is supposed to be a toddler.”
That doesn’t mean there aren’t both good/bad ways to show their personalities.
@wholelottatr3y Eh Hoult looks kinda “soy” but David kinda looks like a “soy” version of Cavill. I think he could’ve worked if the script was better. He sells the vitriolic hatred Lex has very well. Just a shame there’s not much underneath it due to shallow lines in his script. 🤷🏿♂️
@D4hz4hn Nah. Not enough internal conflict. Reed and Sue only had one big fight. Johnny got development but the Thing was wasted. I wish all the characters fought each other more. They just seemed like a stable family. Lame!
@restoreorderusa@Casual_Observe1 Even worse, it’s a statement of fact. Given Iran can still create nukes probably in less than 2 years, Israel still wants the Ayatollah dead and the ceasefire gave Israel 12 hours to go crazy, how did u even imagined this wouldn’t end in disaster? Bad instincts…
@RichardBSpencer What’s ur position? Do u think Iran getting nukes is a big deal or nah? If yes how can they be deterred without violence? I’m genuinely curious
