@heartshapedjoy @NotLizBrody Yep. I have wavy hair and I for the longest would straighten the crap out of it on high heat daily because I thought it was messy/ugly… which just made it damaged, dry, and frizzier (which lead to more straightening).

It’s not a violation of your freedoms.

It’s part of being in a society.

You do not have the right to spread a dangerous and deadly disease to others.

We did plenty of that during Covid around the world. Catching hantaviruses early can keep you from actually DYING from fluid in your lungs drowning you or kidney failure.
