As per an order of the Ministry of Health, this has been reduced to the 0th percentile, meaning even a score of –40 out of 800 is now eligible, subject to seat availability.

Day 11 of requesting PM @narendramodi ji and @PMO to cut freebies and increase the R&D budget because we all know that :-

– Nations that invest in knowledge lead the world.
–Nations trapped in giveaways fall behind.

– South Korea invests four percent of its GDP in research.
– Israel invests more than five percent.
– China keeps expanding its research spending.

This is why they create high tech industries, global companies and millions of jobs.

– India spends only 0.7% of its GDP on R and D.
Because of this, labs remain outdated, universities struggle and young engineers look abroad for opportunities.
This is how brain drain grows.

Freebies may create votes but they cannot create progress.
A free laptop cannot replace a lab.
A monthly allowance cannot replace innovation.

If even a small part of the freebies budget is redirected to research, we can create more patents, more start ups, more jobs and more world class institutes.

So today the request remains the same.
Choose progress over populism.
Choose research over freebies.
Give talent a reason to stay and build India.

When ISRO’s former chief says IIT engineers are not joining ISRO because the salaries are too low, that should shake the entire system.

– It means India’s brightest minds are ready to build the future, but the nation is not ready to invest in them.

– And instead of increasing research funding or fixing the talent drain, we are watching states proudly announce bigger and bigger freebie schemes.

– Madhya Pradesh is literally doubling monthly freebies while our research institutions are struggling to hire talented engineers because they don’t have the funds to match even basic competitive salaries.

What exactly is the priority here?
– Do we want to create innovators or distribute allowances?
– Do we want scientists or dependent citizens?

ISRO cannot attract top engineers if R&D continues to be underfunded.
India cannot win the technology race if our youth choose foreign labs because we refuse to fund our own.

– A country cannot become a global power if it waits for other nations to invent the technology we will use ten years later.

And a very uncomfortable truth
When a government spends more on freebies and less on research, it weakens its own young population.
Instead of taking dividends from their talent, the system turns them into political beneficiaries who rely on monthly payouts.

Science builds the nation.
Freebies only build elections.

So, Please increase the R&D budget and reduce the freebies budget.

18% GST on Mediclaim Insurance is STILL NOT removed.

Zero GST on individual medical insurance but 18% GST slapped on group medical insurance, the one MOST salaried employees actually use. What kind of brainless, backward logic is this @FinMinIndia @DFS_India? Who came up with this nonsense?

This entire “0% GST” announcement is nothing but a headline gimmick. In reality, the people who are already squeezed dry, private salaried taxpayers, get absolutely nothing. These are the same people paying 31.2% income tax, GST on almost every necessity, and a mountain of indirect taxes… and yet you still make them cough up 18% GST on their own health insurance. How is this even remotely fair @nsitharaman @nsitharamanoffc? Is this your idea of supporting honest taxpayers? Because it looks more like punishment for being compliant.

Salaried citizens, who fund the government, who keep the system running, who literally pay the salaries of these incapable and out-of-touch politicians, are treated as cash-cows, nothing more.

This isn’t policy.
This isn’t reform.
This is betrayal mixed with sheer stupidity.

At this point, it honestly feels like contributing taxes to this government is just feeding a machine that refuses to understand or care about the people who actually build this nation.

India cannot lead the world by forever chasing technology invented abroad.

For decades, whatever technology arrives in the US, Europe or China reaches India years later , and we pretend it’s “new”.
Our engineers keep catching up while the world keeps moving ahead.

But now we want a new India.
We don’t want underfunded departments, broken infrastructure, and a “do-more-with-less” culture.
We want an India where technology is born here first, and foreign countries rush to copy us, not the other way around.

It’s tragic that:
– Genius kids settle for ordinary careers.
– Researchers escape abroad because India won’t fund them.
– Startups suffocate while “freebies” get unlimited budgets.

A nation capable of sending missions to Mars shouldn’t be begging for research grants at home.

If we truly care about India’s future, then STOP buying votes and START funding brains.

Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi ji, the numbers speak louder than any speech:

– China’s R&D budget for 5th-gen fighter jets: $44 BILLION
– India’s initial R&D budget: $1.4 BILLION

With this gigantic gap, how can we expect our 5th-gen program to move at the same pace? China is testing prototypes every year, while we are forced to crawl because our scientists work with limited resources.

“Make in India” cannot become a global force if R&D continues to take a back seat while thousands of crores keep getting drained into freebies.

Please take a bold step, sir. R&D deserves priority, not leftover change.
