Hours after the Supreme Court granted Imran bail on charges related to 8 cases tied to the May 2023 protests, 2 of his nephews were arrested.

Imran's party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI):

"After Shahraiz, Aleema Khan’s other son, Shershah, has also been abducted.

Punjab, under Maryam Nawaz’s illegitimate regime installed by Asim Munir, has descended into complete lawlessness. The province has become a symbol of state oppression, where abductions and political victimization are carried out with impunity.

The rule of law has been replaced with the law of the jungle. Basic rights, justice, and democracy have been systematically destroyed by Asim Law."

During a press conference condemning the abduction of her elder son, Aleema Khan revealed her second son, Sher Shah Khan, has also been abducted by masked men.
