@elghorfimed One that's live with a hard date: public apps have to move to expiring offline tokens by Jan 1, 2027. Checking that the apps a store relies on have switched is a quick pre-BFCM job.
@uvkewate Worth putting a date on the expiring tokens one: public apps have until Jan 1 2027, after that unmigrated apps can't take new installs, and Admin API calls start getting refused Apr 1. Just shipped ours.
@ShaharAlbeck Agree. A quiet launch also means your first reviews come from merchants you've actually talked to, and those carry the listing for a long time.
@Goldikam The support side too: those buyers still email asking where their order is, so worth making sure the team can find agent-channel orders as fast as any other.
@DTCopss Such a good catch. Most WISMO starts at the promise, not the parcel, so fixing the FAQ and the order confirmation is the cheapest support win there is.
@stoychev@consentmo Respect for putting the full timeline out. Expiring tokens plus an outside pen test is a solid checklist for the rest of us to copy.
@JonnyEcomSupply My bet is 'label created' with no first scan. They have a number that shows nothing yet, so a one-line note on what that status means helps a lot.
@EffectiveAppsHQ Good one. Worth doing the same with your holiday shipping cutoff, put the order-by date on the site now so it's not another midnight edit.
@ShaharAlbeck Agree. i ended up doing both on my app: a small free plan for stores that need a few weeks to feel it, and a 14 day trial on paid for busier stores that want to see it fast
@MariusDar_ same stage here with my shopify app. what i'm leaning on now is personal emails to founders, not support@ inboxes. following along for the what-works part
Goodbye, Codex. I am so disappointed, Wasted another $200 again.
I swear this is the last timeβno matter how much hype there is in the future, I will never switch to Codex again.
