@IncomeTaxIndia I got the 143(1) for refund due along with the intimation u/s 245 for adjustment of outstanding demand against refund. After that I have agreed to demand and paid it on 23rd Aug. It's been more than a week, demand is still showing as unpaid and refund is on hold.

@NoBrokerCare My CRN is HSPM-7531352. My transport has already been reached on 19 or 20th May as per confirmation from the transporter. However, as per no broker it was arrived in Bangalore on 26th May. I got an email to pay extra 12K for extra inventory which was actually not.

@ishkarnBHANDARI It's not a relief to middle tax. It could be a relief in the ultra lower middle class. 7 lac exemption is under the new tax regime where no deductions are allowed. Under the old tax regime a lot of deductions are available. No benefit to individual tax payers. Just a fiction
