Extremely disappointing experience with @fernsnpetalsindia @fnp_ind

I placed a birthday cake order expecting it to make a special occasion memorable. The cake was never received, yet the FNP app marked the order as “Delivered” at 11:02 PM.

Never use this bad experience

Dear Indians,

Another young man is gone.

Flight Lieutenant Siddharth Yadav. Not martyred in war. Not killed in combat. But lost in a 46-year-old Jaguar jet that should have been grounded long before he was born.He died flying an aircraft that the rest of the world discarded.

@ShouryArya Heartiest congratulations sir

@RakeshSinha01 "Heartiest congratulations to Dr. Nayan for securing the top position in PG (Psychiatry) Her dedication and hard work are truly commendable. A big salute to the proud parents for nurturing such excellence—her success is a testament to their invaluable guidance and support!"...

What emboldened Mishra ji to maltreat a Brigadier’s daughter and a Serving #IndianArmy Officer is the confidence that NOTHING will happen to him.

This kind of confidence comes when entire chain of command is compromised and well oiled and ill gotten earnings reach the top.

Galwan. Line of Actual Control. A battalion is at a state of high alert, eyeball to eyeball with the PLA.

Tangdhar. Line of Control. An infantry section is out on patrol in waist deep snow, ready to foil an infiltration attempt from Pakistan.

North-East. Deep in the jungles, a young company commander ignores the sounds of the jungle. He waits with his soldiers in an ambush. He has received intelligence that terrorists are planning the next big attack somewhere in his area of responsibility.

Siachen. Minus 60 degrees. 20,000 feet above sea level. Frozen winds howling at 100 kmph. A soldier checks his weapon, scans the area in front of him for the hundredth time and gives an “all okay” report to his platoon commander.

They will not sleep. Not this night or the next. Or the nights after that.

In a village somewhere in India, a widow holds her two young children close to her. She points to a photograph on the wall. She tells them about their father who laid down his life for the country. She tells them that one day they will wear the uniform and follow in the footsteps of their father and serve the nation.

This is what our soldiers undergo every single day.

This is the price of our freedom.

Today, spare a thought for the soldier. He is willing to die for you and he doesn’t even know who you are. That you are Indian is enough for him. And for that reason alone, he will sacrifice himself and his family for you.

My New Year resolution is to be an Indian worth fighting for.

What’s yours?

Happy New Year, India.
