During an AEPS balance check, an 80-year-old man’s account suddenly displayed a staggering balance of ₹75,96,95,195.16. 😳

For a brief moment, even the elderly couple couldn’t believe what they were seeing. Everyone around the counter was shocked, wondering if it was actually real.

In reality, such incidents are usually caused by technical glitches, server synchronization problems, or temporary display errors. The amount shown on the screen doesn’t necessarily mean that the money is actually available in the account.

Even so, watching your balance jump from an ordinary account to ₹75+ crore in a matter of seconds is the kind of moment that feels straight out of a movie.

I thought I was spending ₹1,000 on a pizza and garlic bread. 🍕

The payment went through normally. Everything looked fine in the app. A few seconds later, I received an SMS saying ₹5,000 had been deducted for the same order.

For a moment, I genuinely thought I’d lost ₹4,000 extra. My first reaction was to check my bank account again and again because the payment screen and the SMS didn’t match.

Has anyone else experienced something like this with UPI, banking SMS, or online payments? Was it just a notification error, or is there something users should be concerned about?

This kind of mismatch can easily cause panic, especially if someone doesn’t immediately verify their bank balance.

Sharing this because I want to know whether this is an isolated issue or if others have seen similar cases.

Today I went to a supermarket to buy a few everyday items.
Everything felt normal. I picked up what I needed, paid the bill, and was about to leave.
For some reason, I looked at the receipt one last time...
That's when something caught my attention.
At first, I thought I was reading it wrong. I checked it again. Then again.
I even compared it with the products I had purchased.
Maybe it's a billing error. Maybe I'm missing something. I don't want to accuse anyone without understanding it first.
But it made me realize how many of us never check our receipts before leaving the store.
Imagine if even a small mistake happens every day across hundreds of customers.
Since then, I've decided that I'll never throw away a receipt without checking it properly.
