A landmark moment for Samtel Avionics and India. 🇮🇳🇯🇵

Samtel has signed an MoU with Japan’s BULL Co., Ltd. to explore combining passive Post-Mission Disposal (PMD) with Active Space Debris Removal Vehicles (DRV) thereby addressing space debris from both ends: preventing new debris and tackling debris already in orbit.

This is a distinctive India-Japan private-sector collaboration in Space Sustainability, and a significant step in putting India on the global space-sustainability map.

For Samtel, it is also a full circle moment. Our journey began over 50 years ago, and our early display business grew through Japanese collaboration, including with Mitsubishi Electric. Today, we are once again partnering with Japan; this time to address one of the defining challenges of the future of space.

Proud to be taking this step for India.

VIDEO | Aerospace and Defence electronic equipment producer Samtel Avionics expects to double its revenue to Rs 400 crore in the financial year 2026-27.

Talking to PTI videos Samtel Avionics, Managing Director and CEO, Puneet Kaura said, “This year we will have a revenue of Rs 200 crore and we are looking at doubling it next year to about 400 to 500 crores.”
