I highly recommend Gwendolyn Taunton’s “Tantric Traditions” published in 2018. It’s one of the better books on Tantra in the last couple of years. Influenced by Julius Evola, Rene Guenon, and Alain Danielou, she dispels a number of misconceptions about the nature of these initiations and provides an excellent introduction to the Right and Left Hand Paths available to the student in the Dark Age.
