The ICAI May 2024 exam matter is now pending before the Hon. Delhi High Court. Whatever decision comes, it's important, but I think the present exam committee hasn't heard the genuine problems of students. The reason given by ICAI for not going for postponement is beyond my comprehension . One of the CCM, who is from my region and member of the exam committee, made a decision without considering the heartfelt suggestions of students and members. In his own city and state , there are 3 and 4 phases of the election, and I can't understand why he isn't doing some groundwork and understanding the ground reality. In spite of this, I still believe he is a person of principle with good academic knowledge.

During the election, normally every committee followed the past trend, but I am unable to understand why this present committee took this decision and put CA students in some extraordinary position, whether they would cast votes or concentrate on their studies. Students of above-phase residents also faced travel problems because there was no public transport available on May 5 and 11. But I would like to advise students not to waste even one second on social media and to concentrate on their studies.

Enough time has passed, and I have not received any reply from the exam committee. It means that the exam committee is not interested in responding to my letter, despite the fact that President Sir forwarded the email to the exam committee. From the beginning, I have always advised students to concentrate on their studies because there is only a short time left. Now, I am once again advising all Students, please concentrate on your studies only. I pray to God that during the exam no problems will arise and the exam will go smoothly because in ICAI no one is ready for hearing your genuine problems. Respected president sir CA Ranjeet Kumar ji has forwarded the matter to exam committee for consideration of our request and thereafter exam committee inform us whatever his decision on our letter. Now whatever decision will come, will come after Holi, so I again request all CA students to please concentrate on your studies ensure minimum time is spent in celebration for Holi. For you, the exam is the biggest festival.
