Over the past few weeks, we removed hundreds of channels sharing leaked exam materials and related scams in India.
We’re also making the “edited” label more visible to prevent backdating scams.
Telegram is a force for good. Banning it — even temporarily — is a mistake.
India’s IT ministry banned Telegram for one week because some users shared leaked exam questions.
This punishes 150M+ ordinary Telegram users in India — not the insiders who leaked the exam materials.
And the ban hasn't stopped anything. The leaks just moved to other apps.
Indian telecom Reliance is sabotaging access to Telegram for millions of users OUTSIDE India (including the UAE) via a rogue method called BGP hijacking.
The sabotage seems intentional, as Reliance has ignored multiple reports.
This may be part of a competitive war, as Reliance is partially owned by Meta — the company behind WhatsApp.
Network operators are advised to reject unauthorized BGP announcements from Reliance (AS18101) to prevent route hijacks and ensure stable Internet access for their users.
Such abuse of global Internet routing is alarming. I wouldn’t be surprised if Reliance/WhatsApp were also behind the recent lobbying effort to ban Telegram in India.
Day 1 of the AI Impact Summit turned to be a pain for us.
I came genuinely excited, it was the first time the summit was being hosted in India, and I wanted to show up personally to support the ecosystem and the government’s push.
But what happened next was shocking.
At 12 noon, security personnel arrived to sanitise and cordon off the area ahead of the visit by PM Modi visit at 2pm.
I explained that we’re building India’s first patented AI wearable at NeoSapien and requested a chance to showcase it.
One officer told others to let me stay, and they left.
Then another group came and ordered us to leave immediately. Seemed like there was lack of co-ordination between the security itself.
I asked: “Should we take our wearables?”
They said, others are leaving even laptops behind, security will take care.
Trusting them, I left. Hoping that the wearables will be safe, and If I am lucky, it might catch the eye of PM Modi.
Gates were closed from 12–6pm. Much much longer than expected.
Later we found out that our wearables were stolen.
Think about this: We paid for flights, accommodation, logistics and even the booth. Only to see our wearables disappear inside a high-security zone.
If only security and official entourage had access, how did this happen?
This is extremely disappointing.

.@cars24india how can you hire someone who has no respect for hindu religion and making fun of our idols.

What is shameful is your deceit. Israel Killed 25,000 Hamas terrorists. The terrible cost in human lives derives from Hamas’s heinous tactics of hiding behind civilians, their shooting of people trying to evacuate or receive assistance and their rocket fire. Israel facilitated 2 million tonnes of food into Gaza while Hamas tries to sequestrate them, thereby creating hunger. Gaza population has grown 450% in the last 50 years, no genocide there. Don’t buy Hamas numbers.
Delhi High Court stays release of the film ‘Udaipur Files: Kanhaiya Lal Tailor Murder’, while allowing Islamic clerics body Jamiat Ulema-i-Hind and other petitioners to approach the Central Government for a review of the certification granted by the CBFC. Freedom of Expression?
“[We] did lose some aircraft & that happened only because of the constraint given by the political leadership to not attack their mil establishment or their air defences,” says Indian Defence Attaché to Indonesia Capt Shiv Kumar at a seminar.
I report:
Sahil Pathan from Gwalior, MP, disrespected the Bhagwat Gita and the Indian flag on his live social media video.
People are tired of tagging @MPPoliceDeptt, but since it was done by a Muslim, no outrage is happening because they know Hindus will forget this soon.
