It has been quite some time since I first imagined creating a documentary-style series about Estate Living in @SecondLife . I have always felt that this side of Second Life is rarely explored or presented thoughtfully on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, or Primfeed. Yet behind these estates are creators, designers, landscapers, and decorators who have quietly spent years shaping spaces with remarkable care, atmosphere, and identity. This project was created as a form of appreciation for that world. That is why I approached @blanche37422 and invited him to collaborate with me in bringing this idea to life. This series is very much a collaborative effort — I developed the concept, narrative direction, subtitles, and connected the circle of estates involved, while Velbons beautifully captured the visual essence and atmosphere of each space through his cinematography. Over the coming weeks, several videos from this series will be released. To me personally, Velbons has done an exceptional job capturing the quiet beauty, depth, and character of Estate Living in Second Life — something that often cannot be fully understood through still images alone. And of course, none of this would have been possible without the trust and support of each estate owner whom I personally approached and invited to participate in this project. First of all, I would like to thank @blanche37422 for creating this video. I have always admired the way he captures moments in Second Life so candidly. The way he cuts and stitches each clip together, while preserving the original colours and the natural atmosphere, is truly remarkable. I have long been curious to see how he would capture one of my events—and here we are… a beautiful reflection of a special moment at Winchester Estate through his lens. I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to my co-host, @blanche37422 , who gave me the encouragement and motivation to bring this gathering to life for our friends. The same gratitude goes to Mica and Mine, who put so much care and effort into creating The Crescent Editorial Lounge, an exclusive Eid magazine for our guests. To our dear creator friends from Indonesia—@ATTIC, @MEIRA, and @OMAHKU—thank you for taking the time to prepare such beautiful gifts for our guests. It is truly an honour to have your support for the Eid Mubarak celebration. “Cah Ayu, kawibawaning wanita boten saking swara, nanging saking rasa ingkang sumunar lir cahya alus.” (My dear child, a woman’s grace does not come from her voice, but from the feeling that glows like a soft light.) Those words have never left me. I remember sitting in this very corner, on this very sofa, spending long, tender afternoons over tea with my late grandmother—speaking softly about life, about becoming, about what it means to be a woman of quiet strength. She would always remind me that grace and beauty are never forced, never performed. They arrive naturally. And the more certain a woman becomes within herself, the gentler she is with the world—yet never diminished by it. “Lembah manah, nanging teges ing rasa.” (Gentle in heart, yet firm in feeling.) To be feminine is not to be fragile. It is to carry clarity, to hold one’s ground with quiet composure—where calm becomes strength. “Andhap asor, nanging mulya.” (Humble, yet noble.) It is simply who we are, and how we honour ourselves, that teaches others how to regard us. A light that shines from within, without ever needing to dazzle. “Ayem tentrem, nanging kebak daya.” (Peaceful and serene, yet full of strength.) True strength never asks to be seen. Eid Mubarak at Winchester Estate It is the eve of Eid ul-Fitr, and once again, the estate prepares itself with quiet grace. The ritual returns as it always has—year after year, generation after generation—unchanged in spirit, yet ever alive in its presence. The doors of Winchester Estate are open to our guests. Here, hospitality is not a performance, nor an effort to impress. It is simply our way of welcoming—of inviting others to share in a moment that is gentle, sincere, and deeply cherished. Pearl ensures that every guest feels at home, as though they have always belonged. At the estate, tradition, history, and legacy speak in their own language. It is found in the porcelain—collected across centuries—carefully polished, preserved with devotion, and entrusted to the future. Each piece carries the quiet weight of time. It is also found at the dining table, where familiar recipes return, again and again. Not out of repetition, but out of remembrance. A signature that tells every guest: you are here, at Winchester Estate, where continuity is comfort. Nature, too, plays its part. The gardens offer their blooms, thoughtfully gathered to grace the table. The air is filled with the fragrance of fresh flowers, while birds sing softly through the day—as if in quiet appreciation of the life that continues within these grounds.
