#IndianAirForce (IAF) reported that it successfully identified and detected an F-35B multirole stealth fighter jet of the UK’s Royal Navy. On detection, the IAF scrambled a Sukhoi 30MKI fighter jet to intercept the aircraft. The #F35 pilot then reported a critically low fuel emergency and requested permission to land at Thiruvananthapuram airport on India’s south coast. The IAF cleared the request and provided all the necessary support for the aircraft’s safe landing.

However, after IAF detected an F-35, that too in the south of India, which is a region believed to be least vulnerable to air attacks due to its proximity to the ocean, several aviation experts believe India has cracked the #stealth code of even the US-made F-35. The #UnitedStates calls the F-35 ‘the most stealthy aircraft’ in the world and says it can operate totally undetected.

Following #OperationSindoor and this incident, India has time and again demonstrated that its #AirDefence is one of the best, whether it is a small, Turkey-made drone used by Pakistan or a mighty stealth aircraft like the US-made F-35 used by the UK.
