In England, about 42% of all general practice consultations (around 14 million appointments a month) take place on the same day as requested.
In the same country where they ask you to speak to a GP before drinking Kombucha. And the GPs that make that happen are called lazy.
@stkirsch@drbobgill From the article you posted. "A number of studies into DTP vaccination as a risk factor in SID have shown that SID is less common in vaccinated than in unvaccinated infants." it says it, right there.
@stopvaccinating Yeah we studied this and found it made things worse. Here is an example of a trial demonstrating INCREASED mortality in patients receiving Vitamin C. I can cite more.
But I'm sure you won't let data get in the way of your opinion.

Saying pay is not on the table in a pay dispute is not negotiating. Fixing the training job crisis is your job, it’s embarrassing that a dispute even had to be opened.
Just increase doctors’ pay to the point where a new doctor is only paid a little less than an assistant role 🙏🏻
Staggering numbers by the Lancet. Vaccinations have:
- Averted 154 million deaths
- For every death averted, 66 years of full health were gained on average = 10.2 billion years total
- Accounted for 40% of the observed decline in global infant mortality

This is, I believe, unprecedented in the history of UK medicine.
28 eminent UK doctors have written publicly to @LaylaMoran, the new chair of @CommonsHealth, to report something nothing less than scandalous.

Absolutely heart-rending account by Philippa Bateman from Worcestershire. 💔
This needs to be heard by every Boris Johnson sycophant / enabler who trivialises his lockdown breaches, defends his blatant lies, or ridicules the Privileges Committee as a Kangaroo Court!

NEW: we need to talk about NHS staff retention.
At a time when Britain’s healthcare system is acutely short of workers, *1 in 7* UK-trained doctors are practising overseas. No other developed country is like this, which immediately tells you there’s a problem.
Let’s dig deeper:
You became an MP for NE Cambridgeshire in 2010. You have enjoyed a 36% increase in pay. Junior Doctors have seen a 30% decrease in real term pay(see ONS figure)
➡️ Why do you deserve fairpay, and yet junior doctors are told that they are unrealistic asking for the same as you?
➡️ do you value junior doctors less than MPs?
➡️ your predecessor asked for £1500 an hour. Junior doctors are asking for a pay of £19/hr
We didn't have parties to "boost morale"
We didn't have quiz nights
We didn't have champagne
We watched our colleagues die though
We were STEEPED in death
We kept going
We had to
We kept on
So don't you DARE say your parties were "necessary" @borisjohnson
You make me sick.
