This is beyond ridiculous, its harassment. Either don't host the World Cup, or at least allow teams to stay with basic infrastructure. If FIFA had any balls the least they can do is move all Iran games away from the USA.
The captain of the Iran National Team, Mehdi Taremi:
“This is a disastrous World Cup. As professional players, we cannot play a competition under these conditions; it’s neither right nor fair. If FIFA thinks this is fair, that’s on them, but it isn’t. Who should solve this problem for us? FIFA? The U.S.? I don’t know! Tell me a name. The FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, came to our locker room after the first match against New Zealand and said he was going to resolve all the issues, but in reality, FIFA did nothing. In response to the question: ‘Do you feel that the World Cup organisers, including FIFA and U.S. officials, prefer for Iran to be eliminated from the competition?’, I say: We have to fight against absolutely everything. We can’t stay in the country, we travel and undergo immigration checks every time we want to play, now we can’t stay in Seattle and have to return to Tijuana. They’ve done everything possible to eliminate us, so from our perspective, yes, I think that’s what they want, they want us out.”

🚨 BREAKING: Horrific moments as an Israeli strike hit a tent crowded with displaced families in the heart of Gaza City, causing casualties and widespread panic among civilians.
¡ESTA IMAGEN NOS ROMPIÓ EL CORAZÓN! 💔🇮🇷
The captain of Iran’s National Team, Mehdi Taremi, calls out FIFA and the U.S.:
“This is a disaster World Cup. We can’t stay in the country and have to travel every time we play without any recovery. Now we can’t stay in Seattle and have to return to Tijuana. This is not fair.”
@fiago7 Thats why ecperience is important. In asia, qatar will play brilliantly with likes of japan n korea. But at the world stage. They can got cold feet. Mentally not strong enough like japan, korea or even iran
I don't understand how the United Nations can issue a report stating that Israel is committing genocide against Palestinian children and yet world leaders simply carry on with their lives as if it means nothing, continuing to deny that it is genocide!
The UN inquiry’s findings that genocide is being carried out by Israeli authorities and security forces in Gaza - as well as crimes against humanity and war crimes - and additionally war crimes in the occupied West Bank - is due to what the inquiry found was the deliberate targeting of children - and it is horrifying reading. The details of the targeting are chilling. Children. Killed. Wounded. Tortured. Starved. Raped. On a mass scale
People will ask why I talk about politics so much. Ill tell you.
I was born in the 90s my entire life we've been in war in the middle east.
Our parents, your parents did and said nothing to condemn it...
So yes I will not vote or support the endless middle east wars...
@footballkush Same old story every start of the season. Nice to hear but the end product is always frustrating. So far under redbird, every season is a disaster. Better off with Elliot
WATCH: Zohran Mamdani calls AIPAC "monsters":
In AIPAC, for whom the only thing more frightening than democracy being allowed to run its course is an end to genocide and Netanyahu's wars.
They move millions in dark money to accomplish a single goal: to preserve their power so that they can turn us against one another instead of our leaders turning towards the moral change we all know to be necessary.
In the wealthiest city, in the wealthiest country in the history of the world, we need not live in fear of monsters any longer.
If Trump keeps going like this and stops listening to Israel, that means we are not 100% controlled by Israel, which would be a huge relief. But the alternative isn't 0% control. You see Israeli assets in Washignton furious that Trump isn't listening to them. Let's see who wins.
@paz_parish I can understand if tonali wants to leave. But leaving for spurs? Better he stay at nufc. Unless a big club comes along, spurs is in a bad shape right now. A bit like us
