@FMaguwu This is a statement issued by the local police. If you continue to make inappropriate remarks and disrupt the relationship between China and Zimbabwe, you will be condemned by God. This is not something you can boast about, but it is precisely the weapon we can use to fight back.
Whether it's about collecting wages or a home invasion robbery, the police have given a clear response. Those who distort the facts and fan the flames will surely be punished by the law.
The video posted by the blogger shows local residents attacking Chinese citizens at work without knowing the situation. The victims have become the perpetrators. Can this blogger be held legally responsible for his inappropriate remarks?@FMaguwu

It is regrettable that some voices, often amplified by external interests, choose to misrepresent the mutually beneficial partnerships that Zimbabwe has strategically chosen to forge. The post in question is not a reflection of reality, but a deliberate distortion aimed at sowing discord and undermining our national progress.
The suggestion that the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) @PoliceZimbabwe acts as a protector of "colonial masters" is not only false but an insult to our sovereign institutions. The ZRP's mandate is to uphold law and order, protect all lawful investments in our country, and ensure the safety of every citizen and international partner. To frame their duty as protection from an "angry mob" is to advocate for chaos over the rule of law.
The Government of Zimbabwe, under the leadership of His Excellency President E.D. Mnangagwa @edmnangagwa , operates on a clear policy: Zero tolerance for illegal activities, regardless of the perpetrator's nationality. Our laws are clear and are applied without fear or favor. Any individual or entity, Chinese or otherwise, found to be operating outside our legal framework will face the full might of the law. Isolating a few alleged incidents to tarnish an entire strategic partnership is a disingenuous tactic.
The partnership between Zimbabwe and China is one of South-South cooperation, built on mutual respect and shared development goals. It is a relationship that has delivered tangible results from infrastructure projects to critical investments in our mining sector that directly contribute to our national vision, #Vision2030. To label our chosen partners as "colonial masters" is to spit on the graves of our liberation heroes who fought against real colonialism. It is a narrative peddled by those who are uncomfortable with a strong, independent Zimbabwe choosing its own friends and its own development path.
While we acknowledge the right of every citizen to voice concerns, we must be vigilant against those who seek to manipulate genuine grievances for a foreign agenda. The "rising temperatures" are not against our development partners, but against the lies and economic sabotage propagated by those who do not wish to see Zimbabwe succeed on its own terms.
Our focus remains unwavering: to build a prosperous Zimbabwe, by Zimbabweans, with partnerships that we, as a sovereign nation, deem fit for our destiny.
Friends Forever✅

A statement by the Chinese company involved. FYI. @advocatemahere
The final conclusion must come from the Police.
Statement on the Incident of the Attack on China Zhuhe Mining's Gold Mine in Mutoko, Zimbabwe on 9th October 2025
At 00:33 on the early morning of October 9, 2025, a group of gangsters climbed over the courtyard wall of the gold mine owned by China Zhuhe Mining in Mutoko, Zimbabwe, in an attempt to commit robbery.
An on-duty Chinese engineer, armed with a legally registered security firearm for mining operations (with valid certificates), fired several warning shots into the air to stop the criminal act. The gangsters immediately fled in all directions.
At approximately 7:00 a.m. the same day, local workers on the early shift discovered a critically injured gangster about 1 kilometer from the crime scene. They promptly reported the matter to Mr. Zilu, the local translator who also served as the direct supervisor. Mr. Zilu rushed to the scene immediately; upon questioning the gangster, the latter admitted to being injured during the robbery and abandoned at the scene by his accomplices. Mr. Zilu immediately arranged to report the case to the police, but unfortunately, the gangster had already passed away when the police arrived.
While the police were en route to the scene, some local villagers, unaware of the truth, saw the gangster’s body and mistakenly suspected Chinese employees of improper conduct. They then besieged several innocent Chinese employees. Fortunately, the police arrived in time and quickly brought the situation under control.
Currently, the local police have launched a full-scale investigation. One accomplice of the deceased gangster is cooperating with the investigation and has confessed to his involvement in the robbery. The hunt for other suspects linked to the case is still ongoing.
The Chinese engineer involved in the incident is actively cooperating with the police investigation and awaiting the police’s final handling decision.

@QahnaarinEB1@FMaguwu I created this account specifically for this matter. We have already captured two accomplices and I believe it won't be long before my words are confirmed.
@MuntuOmutapa@FMaguwu I'm Chinese. The local police are now conducting a full investigation and have already arrested two accomplices. I believe the truth will soon be confirmed, rather than having to rely on distorting facts to attract attention.
One of the four was injured and his companions left him behind. He was later found and the police were promptly informed. Two of the accomplices have been arrested and confessed to their criminal acts. The other two are being pursued with all efforts.
The incident occurred at 12:33 am on October 9, 2025, when four people armed with weapons attacked a Chinese gold mine and carried out a robbery. The on-duty Chinese engineer discovered this and fired warning shots into the air.
I’m the owner of the enterprise named ZHUHE, which has been robbed by several criminals yesterday in Mutoko. This case is now under investigation by the local police department. The video put by the other blogger is totally misleading!!!!!
