PC 0785 Gungum (yep, that is his name) of @HertsPolice should be given a serious dressing down by his superiors at the very least for how he acted in the video from @AuditingBritain below. Or since he can't be sacked for abusing people's rights, given a desk job shuffling paperwork in the evidence room (even that is probably too much for him) then the police will show the public that they don't care about following the law, being professional, upholding human rights, serving the King, and keeping the peace.
The law controls the police as well the public. The public are free to do what they want if it's not written in law. But the police can only do what's written in law.
Mr Gungum thinks his power of constable allows him to act first and ask questions later. To ignore the conditions of when section 1 of PACE can be used. Using a camera in public and having a radio scanner are not grounds for section 1. Nor is not giving a name to a WPC outwith arrest.
Mr Gungum is a real dumb-dumb. And he's just landed Herts Police with a huge compensation bill that will have to be paid to Auditing Britain.
Oh, and he has a squeaky voice. And he is a twat. He himself said he was.
