I'm loving the era of personalised AI art!
Opus 5.5 wrote, composed and made a video for a song about the story of mech interp (and how things keep getting worse...), packed with obscure references, and tailored it to my tastes (no guarantees anyone else is into it lol)
tbc thinking of first-pass pangram filters being helpful for blocking memetic hazards / superstimuli à la I'm upping my p(doom) but several times more addictive for a regular person, I don't think pangram is going to be particularly helpful at preventing one's own agents from persuading them of things (how to solve that idk).
re: culture, I think a lot of people who are ok with exposing themselves to AI generated stuff on social media are going to end up hopelessly addicted once instagram starts serving them infinite high-quality just-in-time content and that the only non-addicted stable state will be p much zero AI consumption
Agree, I'm factoring my p(them not being market leader) into this.
Curious, why don't you expect such a first pass to be helpful? I already filter most of the internet through either agent swarms (twitter) or pangram (substack, email); I expect a script that keeps you from seeing anything AI-generated would be quite effective.
@kaustubhais in most worlds I expect pangram to be worth much much more than 10b because I imagine pangram becoming akin to infrastructure
superpersuasion is going to be a huge problem and pangram is a useful first filter
