@UnkleAyo This is the bridge linking Ojota to Mende/Maryland. For years, flooding here has remained unresolved. Instead of fixing the root cause, the Lagos State Government chose to build an unnecessary bridge linking Opebi to Ikorodu Road. Priorities misplaced.
One goat scored 6 goals in 6 different world cups(24 years)…Another Goat scored 6 in 6 consecutive world cup matches and is the all time world cup goal scorer.
I know who my GOAT is.
Ronaldo fans will wash him do nothing for 90mins then confidently trash talk every other players except the fraud himself.
Is there like an award for the best retards in that fanbase?
@iDanDizzy They’ve got the best defense in the world, the best midfield in the world and the best team in europe but this retards will trash talk everyone in the squad except the obvious shitty person amongst them.🤡
Someone once told me Cristiano Ronaldo is his mentor and role model.
So I decided to look deeper into Ronaldo’s personality and shared specific instances of his bitterness and unnecessary jabs toward Lionel Messi, even though Messi has never reciprocated with the same energy.
I pointed out how Ronaldo has repeatedly downplayed Messi’s achievements (especially those where Messi has the edge), how he’s been seen engaging in comment sections of Messi troll pages, and other moments where he’s shown clear disrespect.
My friend said he doesn’t see anything wrong with any of that. When I asked if he’d be okay with someone doing the same to him if I (or anyone) surpassed him in life, he replied that “that case is different.”
At that point, I told him: We can’t really be on the same page if you see nothing wrong with that kind of behavior. Till today, we mostly just look at each other from afar. He’s messaged me a few times, but the vibe is off.
Look, if you tell me you only admire Ronaldo’s insane work ethic, dedication, and on-pitch achievements, I get it completely. That’s respectable.
But if you defend or ignore the pettiness, the constant subtle (and not-so-subtle) digs, and the bitterness in the rivalry, then I have to be careful. That says something about your own values.
You can like and respect someone’s grind without pretending they have no flaws. Ronaldo is an all-time great for what he’s accomplished through sheer hard work. But that doesn’t erase the questionable character traits he’s shown, particularly toward Messi.
On the flip side, Messi has consistently carried himself with class. He’s spoken respectfully about Ronaldo multiple times, focused on the game, and never stooped to the same level of public shade. No major off-field scandals or character controversies. That’s the kind of role model worth emulating fully.
You need to have balls of steel to drive "intellectual" conversations in today's Nigeria social media space.
As for the congregation of the uprisen olodos, in the conversation of the Olodo uprising - I have decided to share my own think piece.
@ichieEmy@sb_trendy_ 😂 Bro it’s Nigeria we’re talking about oh…I’ll like to know these roads that you’ll drive for 10 mins in Nigeria without patches, potholes or crazy bumps😂😂
