This Saturday we will be at Wild About Mannington. We will have a stand, with your chance to make bat rockets! Bring your wellies, many of their lovely footpaths are a bit damp after the rain.

A great start to our ringing session being greeted by a singing Golden Oriole in the Poplar trees next to the meadow but only very briefly!! Lots of juvenile birds caught and lots of orchids in flower on the meadow 🥰
One week to go until our Wild About Mannington celebrating Norfolks wildlife 🥳 we celebrated yesterday with three wonderful Barn Owl chicks ringed on the estate!
@onestopnature will be attending Wild About Mannington June 15th with a range of optics, trail cameras and microscopes to suit everyone’s needs and will be happy to answer any questions you might have!
Our final guest speaker for Wild About Mannington is NWT president Patrick Barkham. He is also an award winning author of natural history books and environmental journalist for the Guardian! @patrick_barkham
