This is the worst crypto taxation ever. I would like to request @PMOIndia to reduce crypto high taxation
#reducecryptotax
Bought a ₹6.60 lakh Tiago, only to realise there’s a ₹1.95 lakh "government partner" in the car too.
My cousin decided to buy a 1.2L Tata Tiago for his family’s safety.
Down payment ? His.
5 year EMI ? His.
Insurance ? His.
Fuel expenses ? His.
But apparently, the government’s share in the purchase was not small either.
According to the breakdown
Ex factory plus automaker margin
₹4.65 lakh
Final On road Price
₹6.60 lakh
Government taxes or levies
₹1.95 lakh
That means roughly ₹1.95 lakh went towards taxes and government charges.
And the story does not end there.
First, pay income tax on your salary,
Then use that taxed income to buy the car,
Then pay GST or cess on the car,
Road tax on top
And even 18% GST on insurance.
At some point, you have to wonder
How many layers of taxation does a salaried taxpayer go through just to buy a family car ?
Put sarcastically
"I bought the Tiago,
but the government clearly put in a lot of effort too."
The perfect description might be
Car Mine.
EMI Mine.
Petrol Mine.
Insurance Mine.
But the tax collection ?
Government’s guaranteed partnership.
A joint venture between an exhausted salaried taxpayer and the Department of Revenue,
where one side puts in the money,
and the other side has a guaranteed revenue stream.
@TimesNow Neither any intent or responsibility nor accountability, irrespective of which party is in power, Bangalore roads and infra will be in pathetic condition. No hope from these politicians. Roads in our area are dug up and u should see quality of their patch work. Kudos to BBMP
Only people who will be voting for BJP in 2029 will be mechanics. Rest will chose NOTA. India - Welcome to world of salaried class. @ethanol@nitin_gadkari@narendramodi @e20_petrol
@abhayakupanda@DC_BUrban@CMofKarnataka Whole munekolal has become bowl of dust due to road digging and nobody knows when will it be constructed. Thanks to BBMP, our tax money and vote is so well planned & utilised. Corruption at its peak.
@va_a14 I am living in Bangalore from last 15 years, have never faced language barrier. Commuting is a problem infact and I don't see any solution in near future. Weather is much better than other metro cities.
@bwssbchairman@bbmpcommr@BBMPSWMSplComm
Query: Roads in munekolala/kundanhalli is beendigged for cauveri water pipeline. Everywhere it's dusty and unmotorable. Will these roads be reconstructed or left as it is? If reconstructed, when ? Regular roadblocks being faced by locals
@my_free_speech@path2shah@my_free_speech So you think roads in Bengaluru area in good condition and any accident is a propaganda? Speed breakers constructed are designed with any consideration for safety?
Y'day a car getting stuck on the digged road for kaveri water pipeline. Who's fault is it?
@0xChainMind But as far as I know fourth wave cannot enter second wave territory.... doesn't it invalidate first scenario...just saying by looking at your charts
@simplykashif@CoinSwitch@CoinSwitch customer support is pretty bad and the app has lot of glitches in F&O section. Be very cautious while using it.
@Swiggy@SwiggyCares I'm still waiting for my order from last 2 hours...but no update. Can't even reach customer care...all I get a is a boy which says I'm understand your concern
