And the shape of new content has changed— it’s smaller, tidier, the stakes are lower, the scope is narrower, but that doesn’t mean the quality of the stories can’t be excellent. Andor was one of the best— if not even THE best stories in the saga— let’s keep that momentum going.

Just got back home from seeing Galaxy’s Edge with the kids. Kind of funny seeing it now, post-TROS but also post-Andor.

I remember when photos of Galaxy’s Edge first started coming out, my fandom was peaking, and it seemed like the most amazing experience I could ever imagine

I feel ready to cautiously re-engage, maybe, possibly. I know it will never be 2017 again. Even I felt the same about Star Wars, twitter itself has changed too much for that. There are systemic obstacles that would prevent that sort of size and breadth of community again.
