Supreme Court in an NDPS case: when it comes to Ganja, we are very liberal. Whenever it comes to us we grant bail. Get a dismissal (instead of seeking anticipatory bail) and come here, we will give you bail, no problem.
@SharathSBG Hello Sir, the petanahalli lake bed should be desilted, it’s naturally at a low point, will act as a sponge for all the water flowing there. The lake is incredibly big but filled with garbage and debris currently.
Rs 1.9 crore a day: BJP govt in MP spent more on publicity than on environment or minority depts
Never ending saga of splurging on ads.

@flipkartsupport my mother is being constantly harassed by delivery agents for orders which she hasn’t placed. Someone is placing the order and adding her home address and phone number. Every order in her order history has this comment “customer shared this order with you”
@SharathSBG Great initiative Sir, Hoskote has great potential, if infra issues such as UGD and good wide roads can be ensured. Suggest to take up some lake restorations too. Lakes such as petanahalli lakebed and ganagulu lake will ensure good natural environment for the local population.
I was reading Zero to One by Peter Thiel, where he talks about what makes a business a durable monopoly:
1. proprietary tech
2. economies of scale
3. network effects
4. strong brand
Later that day, I was talking to a friend.
He uses Groww. I use Zerodha.
Naturally, I tried convincing him to switch.
But he wouldn’t budge.
Not because of features.
Not because of pricing.
But because his mutual funds portfolio already sits on Groww.
That’s when it clicked:
What appears to be a UX/distribution choice…
is actually a form of user lock-in.
And when that lock-in compounds across millions of users,
it starts to look a lot like a moat.
That realization pushed me to dig deeper into Groww.
Not just from a product lens - but from a strategy lens.

Hello @BlrCityPolice

With 35% GST, a ₹100 product costs ₹135, and I need to earn ₹192.80 to afford it (92.8% tax) @30% tax bracket. If earning over ₹50L at a 33% tax rate, it’s 101.5% tax! Even broadband and haircuts with 18% GST come to 68.6% effective tax. #GST#TaxReality#taxlawreforms
Out of 68,426 rKM, #Kavach has been installed on just ~2% of India's railway tracks.
With recent train accidents claiming hundreds of lives, can this indigenously developed system guarantee a safer train journey for passengers?

If BESS costs fall annually by:
7%, thermal generation will plateau by 2032.
12%, thermal generation will plateau by 2030.
20%, thermal generation will plateau by 2028.
From just 0.1 GW in 2024 to 42 GW by 2032—a staggering 375x growth. As an investor, wouldn’t you want to be part of this massive shift?
So much buzz around #BESS. But what exactly is BESS anyway?

@MrSampathNayak Kind of tough in india since it's such a cost sensitive market. People might prefer the bottle which is 5 Rs cheaper and doesn't come with hassle of returning. Therefore it needs to become policy. (7/7)
@MrSampathNayak For waste generated in public, especially plastic and glass bottles a system like Flaschenpfand can be introduced in major cities where the consumer is charged an additional amount which is returned when the bottle is returned. (6/n)

Visited 20 breweries over 16 days on the Bangalore Craft crawl, 2024. Going in chronological order of last to first, and my favourites and the hamper given for finishing the crawl are at the end of the thread.
Here's my story
(longish thread) two parts, Part 1
🚨🚨 Civil Aviation Minister @RamMNK has said that he will be looking at bringing down the airfares.
On a ticket of ₹15 thousand, which includes GST and other related charges, I also have to pay ₹2146 as airport charges (image 1).
These 'Airport charges' were hardly ₹268 in Feb 2020 for a ticket of ₹5000 (image 2).
(₹15K is for 2pax. ₹5k is one passenger. Both are Dehradun Mumbai flights.)
