Today is the one-year anniversary of Boundless. We are grateful for your amazing support and endorsements.
Based on our most recent research and active engagements with business and innovation leaders, we realize that we have more that needs to be said. Much more.
Please stay tuned. And be Boundless.
Celebrating, @ValaAfshar '94, '96, who just rocked the keynote at @UMassLowell UMass Lowell's Convocation! 🎓🚀
As a fellow first-gen immigrant, Vala's journey from refugee to tech leader at @salesforce inspires me daily. His wisdom has shaped my career:
• Curate your "digital exhaust"
• Balance with a "to-don't" list
• Lead with kindness
• Learn like a chef, not a cook
• Embrace a "flow-based" mindset
• Persevere through challenges
Seeing him inspire 3000+ @UMLowellAlumni students was incredible. From working full-time while studying to becoming an influencer with 1M+ followers, Vala embodies the American dream.
Proud to be part of his network and a fan of @DisrupTVShow . Vala and @rwang0 , your boundless generosity in mentoring touches lives far beyond UMass Lowell. Thank you! 🙌

Structural ‘data change’ needs to occur.
Why did @MaryvilleU change from being serviced by IT to ‘collectively’ defining a data strategy (aka Collective Technology)? To create the necessary conditions for ‘flow’ to happen. No more silos.
Data change is hard but wow is it powerful.
U.S. leads the world in AI investments. San Francisco is the largest AI investment city in the world: 42% of AI funding in US.
@salesforce, largest employer in San Francisco and the #1 AI CRM company, has been investing in AI for a decade, including a $500M Generative AI Fund.
10 months after our book launched, business leaders and news outlets are noticing the 7 Boundless design principles that matter most in an AI revolution.
We have to think differently about how we work, how we build, how we compete and how we earn meaningful relationships.
It was an honor for me to join Larry Beil (@LarryBeilABC7) and ABC7 Bay Area News to discuss the AI revolution and its impact on work and business.
San Francisco is the AI capital of the world and @salesforce is the largest employer in the city. And the #1 AI CRM.
Waste cutting vs. Cost cutting
Cost cutting is a silo-based strategy - it is resource oriented approach versus value creation, or relationship building orientation.
All waste has a cost associated with it but not all costs are wasteful.
This means that all efforts to reduce or eliminate waste will cut the right costs, costs that generate no value. Waste reduction will not cut into the 'muscle' of the organization and make it less fit. Waste reduction is the path to becoming Boundless.
@PhilKomarny@ValaAfshar Thank you @PhilKomarny it’s not a simple idea and yet Flow based experiences, operating models, products and services deliver better outcomes across the board. We hope our book helps leaders apply Flow and the boundless mindset across their organizations and reap the benefits.
There is a great book on leadership and business that explains ‘flow’ better than most.

Congratulations to Will King (@willking_1 ) for helping taking CMS into uncharted territory - as did at GBS. Arguably the best Pt. Guard in Titan history. Keep believing - one game at a time. #Teammates
