I had requested to let me speak to my cousin who lives with my grandmother. Asked for my phone just for a couple of minutes so I could at least take out the number of my cousin.

Why Delhi Police didn’t let me use my phone? I had also asked for a call with lawyer which was again denied.

At 3:30 in the morning, Delhi Police asks me to call my father and inform him that tomorrow I’ll be going in jail for a long time. The same father who has just lost his mother. How much more trauma did you want to put my family through after we already lost my grandmother?

What was the purpose of trying to call my parents at f-ing 3:30 in the morning? You wanted to torment them?

ध्रुव राठी को छोड़िए, उन्होंने अपना वीडियो डाल दिया है। जो गुंडे हैं, गोदी मीडिया को उनका पीछा करना चाहिए। ज़रा चार सवाल पूछ कर देखना चाहिए कि हज़ारों की सुरक्षा के बीच गुंडे कहाँ से आ गए? जनता के पैसे से गोदी चैनलों और अख़बारों को कई सौ करोड़ के विज्ञापन मिलते हैं। इनके पास कई सौ रिपोर्टर हैं। इनका डिटेल ले आएं, पुलिस और गृहमंत्री से पूछ कर दिखाएं कि गुंडे कहाँ से आए थे? कहाँ से हर बार आ जाते हैं और पुलिस कुछ करती क्यों नहीं है? ध्रुव का इंटरव्यू तो आसान है। उन्होंने तो अपना पासपोर्ट दिखा दिया कि भारतीय है। कमाल का दौर है। एक अखबार की रिपोर्ट में गुंडों की चर्चा न के बराबर है और इंस्टाग्राम पर उसी अख़बार के अकाउंट पर शानदार तस्वीरे हैं। वैसी तस्वीरें अख़बार में नहीं हैं। इसका मतलब है उस अख़बार के पास हिंसा की सूचना थी, पुलिस की ज़बरदस्ती की अपनी तस्वीरें थीं फिर भी आप पेपर के तीन चार पन्नों को पलट कर देखेंगे तो ज़बरदस्ती का स्केल दिखेगा नहीं जो उनके इंस्टा अकाउंट पर उन्हीं के शानदार फोटोग्राफर ने ली है।
